A flexible setting shaped around children
Little Leaps Basildon is designed to feel welcoming and familiar from the moment a family arrives. The environment combines the comfort of a home-from-home with stimulating opportunities for children to play, investigate and learn.
Resources are kept accessible so children can make choices, follow their interests and practise independence. Practitioners use those interests to plan meaningful experiences and support each child’s individual development.
The all-weather garden extends learning outdoors, with varied resources and equipment supporting movement, imagination, curiosity and shared play throughout the year.
